R&G Rock Band
Are you ready to rock, pop, and roll? At Rhythm & Grooves Music Academy, kids have the exciting opportunity to play in a real band! Whether you're into rock, pop, or country, you'll jam with other young musicians, learn popular songs from your favorite genres, and perform for an audience. With the guidance of our awesome instructors, you'll master song form, stage presence, and teamwork, while building self-confidence and forming a musical community with your bandmates. You'll not only improve your musical skills but also make new friends and have a blast rocking out!
R&G Percussion Ensemble
Get ready to make some serious beats! At Rhythm & Grooves Music Academy, our percussion ensemble is the perfect place for kids who love rhythm. Whether you play drums, bongos, marimba, or anything in between, you'll collaborate with fellow percussionists to create awesome music together. You'll also explore and perform music from Brazil, Cuba, Africa, and beyond, while developing teamwork, self-confidence, and cultural awareness. Learn new rhythms, build your coordination, and have fun performing—it's all about creativity, teamwork, and, of course, tons of fun!

Up to EIGHT hours of music training each month
Weekly two hour ensemble group rehearsals and individual private lessons
Performance opportunities
Not only will our students learn how to play together, they will perform together! All of our groups will get on a stage and perform for their friends and family.
Dedicated coaching
Our incredible teachers are incredibly positive and motivating. They are patient and students love them! You'll learn what it takes to play WITH other instruments, how to listen to each other, and what it takes to perform, all with the encouraging mentorship of an experienced teacher!

State-of-the-art equipment
We have everything you need for performing, including percussion equipment, a sound system, and microphones. We have a background in performance and sound, so we know what it takes!
Spacious rehearsal area with PA
We have a 400 square foot room for rehearsals, plus microphones and a sound system, for the best possible experience!
Small tuition fee
Open to current students of Rhythm & Grooves Music Academy. You must also be in private lessons to allow your teacher to help you personally with the music and so you can continue to progress, while also playing in a group. We've found this to be the BEST way to become a well-rounded musician.
