Beginner Drum Set Camp
This intensive camp will focus on:
- Proper grip technique
- Working knowledge of four main stroke types
- Quarter note bass drum systems/grooves
- Eighth note bass drum systems/grooves
- Coordination between feet and hands
- Drum set fills
- Materials subject to change based on performance of the group

Drum sets available but limited. Students may bring their personal kits for the week of camp.
Requirements
Please bring at least one pair of drumsticks, a practice pad, and hearing protection. These items will be available for purchase in the store, if needed. Students will need to bring lunch, any snacks, and drinks daily. There is a water cooler available for use.
