Percussion Boot Camp
This intensive camp will focus on:
- Fundamental techniques for each percussion family: snare drum, mallets, accessories, and timpani
- Exploration of the role of every percussion family
- Fundamental stroke types for snare drum
- Sight reading techniques
- Materials subject to change based on performance of the group

Requirements
Please bring at least one pair of drumsticks and mallets, a practice pad, hearing protection, and a pocket folder to keep provided sheet music in. These items will be available for purchase in the store. Students will need to bring lunch, any snacks, and drinks daily. There is a water cooler available for use.
